  • Studied at Univ. of Minnesota Law School, becoming the second woman to graduate

  • Elected to a school board and ran for Minnesota lieutenant governor

  • Helped found the Minnetonka Center for the Arts

  • Three children, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild
