  • Taught home economics in New York public schools

  • Lifelong peace activist who for years coordinated Cape Cod chapter of Fellowship of Reconciliation, an international peace and justice group

  • Served as president of local League of Women Voters chapter

  • Inveterate follower of the news and writer of letters to the editor

  • Awarded Boston Post Cane (pictured) in February 2016 as Chatham’s oldest resident

“I remember accompanying my mother in a horse-drawn carriage to the polls in the first election when women, at long last, had the right to vote. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to vote for Hillary Clinton and determined to see her inauguration!”
